A product that with inventory on hand or pending return to vendor won't be deactivated until allotted inventory reaches zero. Use the adjust button on the inventory tab to set the inventory to zero first.
How do I delete or deactivate a product?
Follow these steps
To preserve data integrity, products in GlobalTill can't be permanently deleted. To remove a product from your product list and GT reporting, change the status to inactive.
To change a product to inactive status, follow these steps.
- Locate the product you wish to deactivate and open it.
- Select Actions > Edit Product.
- Uncheck the Is Active box. Select Submit.
