Before you start
A customer-facing display is typically a smaller, add-on screen that is pointed towards the customer in a checkout lane. When your POS station has a customer-facing display, this feature can be enabled in POS settings.
Question
How do I maximize the POS customer-facing display?
Answer
On Windows:
- Drag the customer-facing display onto the customer-facing monitor.
- Maximize the customer-facing display by double-clicking on the background of the customer display.
On Mac:
- Drag the customer-facing display onto the customer-facing monitor.
- Use the round, green, window-maximization icon located on the top left of the application window.
- When the POS closes, it will remember the position and the window's maximized state the next time it opens.
Heads up
The POS is only compatible with full, secondary monitors. Some POS hardware includes a limited 2- line, text-based LCD displays. GlobalTill is not compatible with such text-based displays.
