How do I use Check for Retail Price Changes?

Follow these steps

Check for Retail Price Changes allows you to initiate retail pricing changes immediately. It will place all suggested price changes in a pending queue for you to review and to apply as needed.

Check for Retail Price Changes offers an optional email of the Suggested Price Change report so you understand exactly how and why the retail pricing rules are or are not being calculated for the pending price changes.

Step 1: Run Check for New Price Changes and email the report
  1. Select Products > Pricing > Retail Prices.
  2. Select Actions > Check for New Price Changes to move price changes to the Pending Retail Changes Queue. This process will take approximately 5 minutes to complete depending on the size of your database.

  3. Check Send Email Summary to receive the retail pricing changes (recommended). This report will show you details of each retail price change including information about the pricing rule, how it is set up, cost details, rounding information, whether a price change is required (or whether the change is now in the pending queue for you to apply or ignore), and the percent of change.  The report also shows you all products that do not have any associated retail pricing rules.

Step 2: Review retail price changes

There are two ways to view pending retail price changes. You can:

  1. Select the "You have unapplied retail price changes" flag at the top of the screen.
  2. Or, you can select Actions > Pending Retail Changes.pending.png

Both actions will display the Price Change List, where you can apply the price changes.

Review the pending changes and apply selected changes to specific products or discard them. For more information, see the article How to review retail price changes.
